Gastric sleeve or sleeve gastrectomy surgery is fast becoming the most commonly done weight loss surgery procedure in Australia and the world.
Dr Ken Wong at Central Coast Surgery personally performs about 100 gastric sleeves a year.
Most patients will lose a fair bit of weight. However, there will be occasional stomach dilatation down the track. Repeat gastric sleeving or conversion to gastric bypass may well be a good solution.
