Much has happened over the past twelve months. Most of our patients have achieved their weight loss goals and have been very happy with their sleeve gastrectomy. Weight loss surgery continues to improve significantly.
Results for sleeve gastrectomy has been published with six-year follow-up and it shows that at this time period, it is an effective form of weight loss surgery. Few problems have been encountered by patients who have undergone sleeve gastrectomy except for a small number who have regained weight or have developed dilatation of their sleeved stomach.
However, this is easily remediable. A lot of people make new year resolutions to do something about their weight. Few act on it.
